We are seeking a motivated Ground Laborer to join our team at the asphalt plant in Ft Smith, AR. This position plays a key role in supporting plant operations by performing general labor tasks, assisting with equipment operation, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities Assist with general labor duties around asphalt plant, including loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, and cleanup Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success Operate small equipment such as skid steers and other light machinery as needed. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working at an asphalt plant is a plus, but not required Experience in construction or related industry Ability to operate small equipment (e.g. skid steer) safely and efficiently Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
