Responsibilities: Coordinate project activities, deliverables, and action items Prepare project execution plans and identify technical and business resource needs Develop or assist with development of project cost estimates and proposals Review work statements / scope to ensure they are adequately defined and executable Proactively and collaboratively support the project team through scope review, investigation, and guidance Execute processes and procedures to meet management and project requirements Review performance to include budget and schedule; review/prepare status reports Monitor effort to ensure schedule and budget are maintained accordance to plan Work with risk managers to ensure risks and opportunities are properly captured, appropriate risk mitigation activities are identified, and risk mitigation is effective Support the development and communication of program metrics Maintain and promote good customer relationships Required Skills and EducationBachelor's Degree in related field of study and 6 years of experience in Program/Project Management Experience in project planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling processes Experience in Production, Facilities, or similar environments Ability to manage and report project schedules and budgets Ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to adapt to high volume workloads Ability to represent the team and deliver status reports to internal and external leadership Excellent organizational and follow through skills Strong communication (written and verbal) skills Detail oriented with problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office About BAE Systems Platforms & Services Posting BAE Systems, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc, an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services.
