Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ashland. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic professional with hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering, subsurface exploration, and construction materials testing. This is a full-time, on-site position with no remote work option. While relocation is not covered, candidates from across the U.S. willing to move are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed subsurface investigations and perform comprehensive lab analyses. Execute on-site testing and ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilize GeoSystems, Gint, L-Pile, and MSEW software for project analysis and reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, geology, or related fields. Possession of ACI, VDOT, and/or NICET certifications. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred, with plans to obtain PE licensure considered a plus. Physical and Travel Requirements: Ability to lift between 60-80 lbs. Must hold a valid driver's license and be open to travel as required.
