Inventory expeditor / purchasing assistant

Are you a detail-oriented procurement professional looking to drive efficiency in a high-precision manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a Buyer/Inventory Planner to manage the full lifecycle of raw material replenishment and vendor relationships. In this role, you will be the bridge between our suppliers and the production floor, ensuring that every part-from one-off prototypes to high-volume raw materials-is available exactly when needed while maintaining strict AS9100 compliance. salary: $19 - $21 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Monitor future orders and forecasts, use the data to adjust the replenishment system levels as necessary • Place purchase orders and process purchase requisitions • Return non confirming parts to vendors and schedule replacement parts • Attend and participate in Material Review Boards (MRB) and monitor vendors performance, report finding to vendors • Provide production floor and planner assistance as needed • Maintain Computer ERP system with accurate part and supplier information as required • Maintain AS9100 compliant procedures. Ensure activities are compliant with these and other company procedures • Obtain quotations from vendors.
