Edward Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support facility operations at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. This role provides general carpentry, painting, and building maintenance services, along with basic HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing support to ensure safe and efficient hospital operations. Key Responsibilities General carpentry, masonry, drywall, flooring, and ceiling installations Surface preparation (caulking, sanding, masking) and painting/staining Preventive maintenance (filters, belts, lubrication, fire extinguishers) Minor mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, and radiators Install, maintain, and repair electrical conduits, wiring, cables, and breakers Replace light bulbs and lamps Operate and maintain snow removal equipment (plows, tractors, snow throwers) Grounds and facility support as needed Work Environment & Physical Requirements Maintenance, warehouse, office, and clinical environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and overhead reaching Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required) Experience: Minimum 3 years skilled labor experience (Required)
