Red Bull New York ("RBNY") are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league's ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. POSITION SUMMARY The New York Red Bulls Academy Medical and Performance department is a high performing multi-disciplinary group of practitioners, who strive for the highest level of practice possible every day. RESPONSIBILITIES Areas that play to your strengths All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: Evaluate, treat and conduct rehab with assigned academy athletes Lead referral of athletes to team physicians or other external healthcare provders as necessary Ensure effective communication with departmental staff, coaches, athletes and family members Coverage of practice and games (Including occasional international travel) Preparation of field and athletes for practice and games Collaborate with department on best practice return-to-play pathways Maintain digital medical and treatment logs for assigned academy athletes Keep medical spaces clean, organized and safe. EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: Bachelor's or Masters Degree in athletic training from CAATE recognized school NATABOC Certification Active New Jersey Athletic Trainer Licensure or the ability to quickly obtain Current Professional CPR Certification Must pass a background check to work with minors and undergo mandatory Safe Sport training. NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS) preferred The ability to regularly lift up to 75lbs, in addition to being physically capable of performing general athletic training duties Travel 10-20% Permanent Benefits eligible JOIN THE TEAM
