Substation Technician

The Substation Technician III is the highest craft level within the Substation Technician hierarchy. This role leads and executes complex substation construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities while mentoring lower level technicians. The position requires advanced technical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities / Day to Day • Lead and support substation construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities • Direct and mentor lower level technicians while enforcing safety and work standards • Plan and execute work including switching, tagging, grounding, and equipment isolation • Perform advanced electrical testing and interpret results • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot substation equipment and protection systems • Coordinate work to ensure system reliability and protection of critical assets We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
