Certified Nursing Assistant- (PRN)Location: Norwalk, CT, 06851 Employment Type: PRN Pay Rate: $14 - $17/hr; (Negotiable based on experience) Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing essential care and assistance to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while maintaining the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility. Vital Signs: Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. Assist with Medical Procedures: Support nurses and doctors during medical procedures, helping prepare patients and maintaining a sterile environment. Patient Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff. Emotional Support: Provide emotional support to patients and families, offering comfort and reassurance. Documentation: Accurately document patient information, care provided, and observations in the electronic health record system. Sanitation and Safety: Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and safe, adhering to infection control protocols. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut (required). CPR/BLS certification (required). Minimum 6 months of CNA experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
