Two years’ relevant oncology clinical experience preferred. Must fulfill licensure requirements of the State of Wisconsin for a RN and be legally eligible to practice in the state of Wisconsin. Chemotherapy Administration Course required. Previous experience with chemotherapy administration required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Knowledge and understanding of the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and RN Scope of Practice. Experience with process improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Work HoursWe are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) RN to work four days per week from 7:30am-5:00pm.Job SummaryThe Infusion nurse is responsible for administering nursing care to patients in a safe, efficient, compassionate, and courteous manner using proper nursing procedures. The infusion nurse performs chemotherapy and infusion administration, physician assistance, information gathering, sample collection, patient education, patient follow-up, supply maintenance, and consultation.The nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
