2nd Shift Maintenance Technician - Pottstown, PA

Job Type Full-time Description We are looking for dependable, resourceful 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in Pottstown, PA. Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred. Responsibilities: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience troubleshooting machinery. Ability to work effectively in a team-based, often fast-paced environment. Ensure operation of machinery by completing maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems. Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, schematics, service manuals, etc. Perform preventative maintenance and take corrective action to prevent equipment down time. Maintain parts and supplies inventory and reorder as necessary. Follow all required safety practices including lockout-tagout and wearing required PPE. Other duties as assigned. Requirements • High school diploma or general education (GED) • Previous mechanical and electrical machine repair experience necessary • Knowledge of PLC system and interpreting electrical schematics preferred • Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints and procedures • Basic computer skills • Able to perform basic mathematical functions • At least 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing, packaging, industrial or warehouse environment • Sound judgment, problem solving and critical thinking skills • Ability to lift 50lbs and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently We offer a competitive hourly wage based on experience plus a comprehensive benefit package.
