ERS NETA Testing Technician

Summary: Seeking a skilled NETA Testing Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems up to 15 kV. The role involves hands-on field work, technical supervision, and report preparation. Mandatory: NETA (LEVEL - 2 - 4) Responsibilities: Test and maintain electrical power systems, switchgear, and relays. Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and load recording. Conduct power system studies (short circuit, coordination). Lead field projects and ensure safety and quality compliance. Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation. Support business growth through client engagement and accurate project scoping. Qualifications: BSEE/BSME, technical school graduate, or equivalent military training with relevant field experience. Minimum 3-4 years of similar testing experience. NETA certification required. Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-controlled test equipment. Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 50%. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Physical Requirements: Regular lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting of 100 lbs test sets. Ability to stand, walk, climb, and kneel as required.
