Provide specialized nursing care as an RN in dialysis settings, supporting patients through treatments on units located across multiple hospital campuses. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Associate degree in nursing required Current Registered Nurse license for Alabama or compact state (temporary licenses not accepted) AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year recent dialysis experience Professional nursing certification in dialysis preferred Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal Responsibilities: Administer dialysis treatments including bedside and peritoneal dialysis procedures Collaborate with certified dialysis technicians and healthcare team members Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure safety protocols Adapt to rotating schedules with weekend and holiday shifts as required Provide patient education and emotional support during dialysis care Schedule: Option for 36 or 48 hours weekly Every other weekend work required Holiday shifts as scheduled Regional campus hours: Monday-Saturday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with on-call Sundays and after hours Northport campus hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays with on-call on alternate days, including weekends Location Insight: Moundville, AL offers a charming community environment with access to regional healthcare facilities.
