Maintenance: Description At Shoppers World, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable retail porter to join our team. As a Retail Porter, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities • Keep the store clean and presentable at all times by sweeping, mopping, and dusting. • Empty trash cans and ensure waste is disposed of properly. • Maintain an organized and clutter-free stockroom. • Assist customers with carrying their purchases to their vehicles. • Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the designated area. • Keep shelves and displays well-stocked and neatly arranged. • Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels • Utilize point-of-sales (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous experience is preferred • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask • Excellent time management skills • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to assist shoppers in a friendly and professional manner. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards. • Ability to work independently and efficiently, taking initiative to complete tasks. • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
