The person in this position will be responsible for prescribing medications and ordering tests in furtherance of the diagnostic process. This person will also take a direct role in treating hospital patients presenting with complex respiratory pulmonary and critical illnesses, in addition to as injuries, in inpatient and ICU hospital setting. The Pulmonology Critical Care Physician shall endeavor to seek optimal outcomes for their patients. This position is located in Kingsport, Tennessee. The person in this position must have M.D., D.O. or foreign medical degree equivalent, licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee, completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care medicine, and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine.
