Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Rochester, NY

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled care on the Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on Colorectal and Bariatrics at a well-established healthcare setting. Schedule & Hours: 12-hour night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM 36 hours per week One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend Commitment to work at least one holiday during the contract Qualifications and Experience: Current NY Registered Nurse License American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum 1 year recent acute Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience (2 years preferred) Non-U.S. candidates must have at least 2 years of U.S. work history Proficiency with EPIC charting system Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs including potential block booking Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional nursing care to medical/surgical patients specializing in Colorectal and Bariatrics Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to changes Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC Uphold facility policies and adhere to all safety and compliance standards This is a 16-week contract opportunity designed for nurses who can commit to providing high-quality care during night hours. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, ensuring dedicated support to this community.
