Responsibilities This position delivers direct resident care and provides superior healthcare to our residents in a manner which promotes independence, preserves dignity, & strives to improve their quality of life. Assist with the maintenance of resident's nutritional and personal hygiene needs Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition Understand the psychological needs of the resident. Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards. Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents. Assist with Nursing and other Staff as needed Follow all professional, facility, and legal standards while maintaining resident and facility confidentiality. Responsible for promoting a safe work environment through proactive injury prevention practices and compliance with all safety standards. Requirements Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification Candidates must be eligible to work and able to verify employment authorization. Applicants are expected to meet the basic qualifications and job requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
