Maintenance mechanic - 3rd shift

Job Description Maintenance Mechanic Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to meet strict deadlines on short notices Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Possesses good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Passion and alignment with Company mission, vision, values, and operating principles Position Requirements 3+ years' maintenance experience working for consumer product manufacturer 3+ years' experience in welding, plc, preventative maintenance, abrication, and knowledge of in-house equipment and machinery Knowledge of OSHA regulations Ability to work multiple shifts. Position requires some weekend work. Regular and reliable attendance salary: $51,771 - $77,064 per year shift: Third work hours: 11 PM - 7 AM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Repair equipment and building functions that are utilized in daily operations. • Assist in installation of new machinery and equipment • Fabrication of parts and equipment • Assist in the identification of design enhancements that can be made to improve equipment reliability while working with vendors and engineering to implement these changes Report broken/inoperable/unsafe equipment to shift supervisor, maintenance manager, and/or plant engineer and take immediate corrective action if warranted. Advise Manager of potential equipment and building issues Guide and assist Maintenance Technicians in equipment repairs Assist supervisors in after-hours maintenance calls Work independently on various projects assigned by Manager/Supervisor Maintain ongoing training in the following areas: OSHA regulated programs Food Defense, GMP's, HAACP, CCP Procedures Lock Out / Tag Out PPE Machine Operation Reading and understanding production specifications Understanding and recording of data on process documents The essential functions of this role include: manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week working weekends Skills Maintenance Electrical General Maintenance Mechanical Maintenance Electronic Maintenance Blueprints Plumbing Contract Maintenance/Renewal Qualifications Years of experience: 3 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
