Locum Tenens CRNA - General Anesthesia | 13-Week Assignment Location: Macon, GA 31201 Enjoy working in Central Georgia with the convenience of being based in Macon (31201) and a welcoming community atmosphere. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) locum tenens opportunity supporting a high-acuity, team-based anesthesia practice. Join an MD-supervised anesthesia care team (typical ratio 1 MD to 4 CRNAs) in a busy surgical environment with 26 anesthesia rooms and Epic charting. Job Details (CRNA Locum Tenens) Position Type: Locum tenens CRNA Start Date: 01/22/2026 (as soon as credentialed) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Openings: 3 Schedule: Day Shift Shifts per Week: 5 Shift Duration: 10-hour days (8s and 10s required) Typical Shift Times: 7:00am-3:00pm (8s) or 7:00am-5:00pm (10s) Overtime: Not expected, but may be offered Charting System: Epic Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $6,870-$7,250/week (estimated) Job Requirements (CRNA) Licensure: Active Georgia RN license and APRN/CRNA authorization required at time of submission Education: Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program Certification: Current certification/recertification by the appropriate national nurse anesthetist certifying body (NBCRNA) Credentialing: Ability to complete privileging/credentialing (estimated timeframe ~120 days) Preferred Keywords: General anesthesia, perioperative care, anesthesia care team, locum CRNA Responsibilities (Anesthesia Provider) Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans Obtain and/or verify patient consent; educate patients on anesthetic options, benefits, and risks Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Continuously monitor, interpret, and document patient physiological status throughout the perioperative period Recognize changes in patient condition and perform clinical interventions as needed to support patient safety Collaborate with the MD-supervised anesthesia care team to support safe, efficient case flow Provide anesthesia services across a broad case mix including General, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, OB, and Pediatrics Apply today to be considered for this locum tenens CRNA opportunity and start the credentialing process.
