One of my best clients is currently seeking a night warehouse supervisor for their facility located just outside of Plant City FL. You'll be a part of leading a large crew during the night-shift operations in a large, technology-driven distribution center that relies on advanced automation, high-speed sortation, and real-time inventory systems. This role blends hands-on leadership with system oversight, ensuring that people, processes, and automated equipment work together to meet nightly throughput and accuracy goals. What You'll Do Lead and develop a night-shift team of warehouse associates, technicians, and material handlers. Monitor automated systems (conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, WMS dashboards) and coordinate with maintenance when issues arise. Manage workflow and priorities to meet service-level commitments, shipping deadlines, and productivity targets. Ensure safety compliance across all night operations, including lockout/tagout, equipment checks, and incident reporting. Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and maintain high accuracy and efficiency. Oversee inbound/outbound activities, inventory movement, and quality checks. Support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and day-shift leadership. What You Bring Experience supervising teams in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment (automation experience preferred). Strong understanding of WMS/WCS systems and comfort working with automated equipment. Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities. Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Willingness to work overnight hours on a consistent schedule.
