Accounts Payable ManagerFive Towns, NY$180,00 - $200,000 + DOE Our Client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager with a strong background in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) accounting. This leadership role will oversee a team of AP Leads managing payables for multiple facilities, improve AP processes, ensure compliance, and safeguard against fraud. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in cash management and process optimization. Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor AP Leads responsible for handling payables across multiple SNF and ALF facilities. Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance AP workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy. Fraud Detection & Compliance: Implement controls to prevent fraud and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, manage payment schedules, and optimize liquidity for operational needs. Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve payment issues promptly. Reporting: Prepare AP reports and metrics for senior management review. Technology & Systems: Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline AP processes and maintain accurate records. Qualifications:5+ years of AP experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) experience required. Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and fraud prevention. Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
