The right candidate will be responsible for the timely preparation of all escrow files and ordering all information necessary for the closing of escrow transactions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare earnest money receiptsPrepare and send opening letters and “thank you” acknowledgements to all partiesOrder legal/vesting and prepare listing kits as necessaryOrder title commitments and payoff/assumption statement requestsOpen refinance ordersPrepare receipts for all funds received from Customers and/or lendersObtain releases and other “to follow” items, if applicableClear title requirementsMonitor termite inspection requests and other required inspection informationAnswer customer and real estate questions and/or telephone callsUpdate payoff/assumption figuresCancel files according to office procedurePerform all tasks of the Escrow Receptionist as requiredOpen, sort, and file daily mailAccess and print reports as directed by ManagerConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Education and/or Experience Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical schoolSix months to one year of related experience and/or trainingKnowledge of proper telephone etiquette and basic real estate/escrow terminologyProficiency with MS Office and email Preferred Qualifications Strong communication skillsAbility to organize and prioritize tasks and recognize and solve problems independentlyAttention to detail Come join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
