Job Description We are seeking a Printer Technician to join our dynamic team in Allen Park, MI. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in onsite print device support, consumables management, and routine hardware/software troubleshooting and a proven ability to resolve incidents, meet response-time goals, and deliver high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Monitor systems to detect performance issues and resolve technical problems on assigned platforms using established protocols. Identify incident trends and escalate within defined timeframes and procedures. Conduct routine installations and configurations, assembling and integrating systems per standards. Respond to service, product, and technical inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction. Execute documented, approved change activities while adhering to incident, change, and problem management processes. Meet daily production goals and contract-required response times. Align individual work with team strategy and contribute to process improvements. Maintain data confidentiality and support execution of business processes with independent judgment. Complete process-oriented assignments, share technical information, and support operational plans. Identify and solve varied problems and complete day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision. Onsite Administrator (Print) - OSA Level II Duties: Manage consumable inventory and ensure availability at customer sites. Replace toner, consumables, and paper, and clear paper jams. Assist end users with device functionality and initial troubleshooting. Coordinate with HP software-branded support as needed. Report customer dissatisfaction to CSM/SDM. Collect usage pages per device and swap devices with spares when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Basic knowledge of HP products and service offerings. Ability to communicate effectively with technical audiences and first-level management. Active listening and ability to tailor messages to the audience. Problem-solving skills using defined procedures in proactive and reactive scenarios. Conceptual understanding of IT environments. Onsite presence required in Allen Park, MI with daily commute as applicable. Experience Level & Education: High School Diploma/GED/Higher Secondary or equivalent experience required. Typically 2-5 years of related experience, preferably in maintenance, quality, or related fields. Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree in a technical field with 3-5 years related experience desired. Additional Role Details: Work On Site Required. Client Interface Required.
