Ammonia Tech (2nd shift) Pay Rate: $62,400–$72,800Location: Joplin, MO 64801Shift: 2nd Shift — 2:00 PM to 11:00 PMJob Type: Direct Hire | Full-TimeJob Order #: 123651 Job Overview Standby Personnel is seeking an experienced Ammonia Tech to monitor, maintain, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and plant equipment. This Ammonia Tech role is ideal for a technician with strong refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. The Ammonia Tech position plays a critical role in plant safety, system performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do The Ammonia Tech role includes the following duties: • Monitor and maintain ammonia and refrigeration systems• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on freezers and equipment• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components• Document system readings and maintenance activities• Repair leaks (water, hydraulic, ammonia, nitrogen)• Follow GMPs, safety standards, and PPE requirements• Support continuous improvement and plant safety initiatives Requirements • 3–5+ years industrial refrigeration experience• Ability to obtain or currently hold R.E.T.A.
