Position Description Advertised Job Summary The Office of Career Management at the Darla Moore School of Business invites applications for two undergraduate career coaches. The career coaches will help to develop and deliver innovative career education becoming a collaborative partner in career management for all undergraduate business students thus directly impacting their success in the internship and job search process. The positions provide opportunity for one-on-one career coaching and support to the undergraduate business students, strategizing with the students on internship and job search as well as providing key guidance on all areas of career management. The career coaches will work closely with the undergraduate academic advising team within the School, business student organizations and the University of South Carolina Career Center in order to fully integrate and implement the overall career management strategy for the students. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other CredentialsPreferred Qualifications Master's degree with 3-5 years relevant work experience, preferably in student services management or career management. Knowledge of the basic principles and theories of student development and educational administration is desired. A collaborative management style and excellent organizational skills are essential as is a background in teaching/presenting and/or counseling.
