Orientation & Mobility Specialist - Boston, MA

This opportunity is for an Orientation and Mobility Specialist dedicated to supporting K-12 students across a diverse age range. Located in Boston, MA, this full-time contract position offers a structured schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week during the 2025/2026 school year. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized orientation and mobility instruction to K-12 students to enhance their independence and navigation skills. Assess and develop individualized mobility plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and related service providers to support students' educational goals. Maintain accurate documentation and reports of student progress and services provided. Utilize professional expertise to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in orientation and mobility. Qualifications: Active Orientation and Mobility License in Massachusetts is mandatory. Proven experience working with K-12 students across various developmental stages. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within an educational team. Commitment to onsite work in Andover, MA.
