2025-26 Probationary Physical Therapist JobID: 1176 Position Type:K-12 Teaching Positions Date Posted:7/15/2025 Location:Rush-Henrietta Central School District Date Available:08/26/2025 Closing Date:Until filled DUTIES:The Physical Therapist works with the building teams and the Committee on Special Education to provide evaluations with students with developmental, sensory, and motor needs.The PT provides a range of therapy and interventions to support students with disabilities, and provides consultation to building teams. The PT helps to prepare IEPs and attends CSEmeetings, and collaborates between parents, physicians, related service providers and outside agencies.SALARY:Highly competitive based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers’ Contract.QUALIFICATIONS:Must currently hold the Civil Service title of Physical TherapistORbe reachable for appointment from the current Civil Service Physical Therapist list of eligibles. The successful candidatemust possess a New York State License as a Physical Therapist; also, currently registered by the New York State Education Department OR possess a limited permit to practice issued byNYSED. Experience as a physical therapist is required, preferably in a school or pediatric setting. Initiative, communication skills and strong knowledge of special education and academicsupport are required.
