An experienced Radiation Therapist is needed to support a dynamic Oncology team in Beloit, WI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a reputable hospital setting, delivering expert radiation therapy treatments to patients with compassion and precision. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing a consistent weekday routine. Responsibilities include: Utilizing core skills in radiation therapy such as scheduling, simulation, patient setup, and treatment delivery. Demonstrating proficiency with all major department equipment to ensure accurate external beam treatments. Assessing and addressing patient needs during treatment while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Completing patient charts accurately and timely in line with established standards. Performing advanced treatment calculations, designing and fabricating blocks with accuracy. Conducting simulations independently and efficiently. Following required scripting, safety barriers, and patient identification procedures. Key qualifications and desired experience: Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program. Current ARRT registration in radiation therapy. Valid AHA BLS certification. Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment planning.
