This contract Physical Therapist (PT) position offers the opportunity to support students within the school setting during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. Located in Hull, MA, this role requires delivering in-person physical therapy services that enhance students' mobility, independence, and participation in educational activities. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy assessments and interventions to students in a school environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and accommodate educational goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Desired Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist license as required by the state of Massachusetts Experience working in school-based physical therapy settings preferred Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and school regulations Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy techniques for varying student needs and school schedules Location: Hull, Massachusetts (in-person services required) Benefits: Contract position offering hands-on experience in a dynamic school environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health and educational success Qualified candidates interested in providing physical therapy services during the ESY program in Hull, MA, are encouraged to apply and contribute to supportive student services within the school system.
