Travel MRI Technician | Paterson, New Jersey

Responsibilities: Position patients on the examination table and correctly place coils such as head or knee coils following radiologist protocols Utilize communication tools like microphones to maintain patient-technologist communication during exams Enter patient information, scanning areas, and scan parameters into the MRI system accurately Operate MRI equipment controls to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers Monitor patients visually through the control room window and via closed-circuit TV for safety and comfort Review images on monitors to ensure clarity and diagnostic quality Document images using camera systems within the MRI suite Maintain safety protocols by warning staff about metallic objects near the magnet room Perform additional duties as assigned within the imaging department Qualifications & Desired Experience: Proven expertise as an MRI Technologist with demonstrated proficiency in operating MRI equipment Strong knowledge of MRI imaging techniques and safety procedures Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members Detail-oriented with excellent data entry and image analysis skills Job Type: Travel position offering flexibility to work in various healthcare settings.
