Adecco is currently hiring for Machinist 2 jobs with a local customer.Responsibilities:Set up moderately complex CNC jobs and operate conventional and CNC machining centersRun multiple machines at one time to meet production demandsReview and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine tolerances and setup requirementsSelect and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on mills, lathes, grinders, Swiss machines, and other equipmentCalculate and adjust machining factors such as speed, feed, and coolant flowVerify finished parts using precision measuring instruments including micrometers and height gaugesFit and assemble machined parts into complete unitsAssist in training other personnel as requiredTroubleshoot machining or assembly issues with engineering and production teamsComplete required documentation and perform operator preventive maintenanceMaintain a clean work area and follow all safety policies and ISO standardsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required (Vocational/Technical training preferred)3-6 years of CNC machining experienceAbility to read blueprints and understand GD&TComplete knowledge of G-CodesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environmentWillingness to work overtime as neededPerks:Pay starting at $31.00 per hour2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 11:30 PMWeekly paycheckManufacturing work environmentAccess to Adecco's Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling coursesThis role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
