Swimming Instructor - Mahwah, NJ

About the Job Aquatica Academy is looking for experienced instructors with at least 3 years experience to teach our students how to swim at our new location in Dover, NJ. Instructors with strong backgrounds and reliable attendance will be offered a 4 hour shift for to 5 days a week. Job Details:Great working environments, work autonomously "no drama". Our staff retention is excellent. Very warm, comfortable pools averaging 86-88 degrees. Teaching semi-private and private classes, no large groups. Most students are between 3 and 10 years old. All training equipment is provided. Additional gear provided upon your request. Holidays and snow days are paid when they fall on your regular work schedule. Pay scale is $32.50 / hour 1099 with set hours. Pay is not affected by students attendance or class size. Pay scale is $37.50 / hour 1099 when substituting. Class hours are Sundays 11-3pm, eventually Mondays - Thursdays 4-8pm. Rolling schedule for students means you get to develop and stay with your students as they advance levels (no session-style schedules). Year-round position (not seasonal). We do a standard background check. Copy of your photo ID, SS card and certifications are required. CPR/AED and First Aid must be brought up to date if not already.
