Engineering Aide

Title: Engineering Aide Job ID: 18963-1 Location : Chelmsford, MA Pay: $56.00/hr. on W2 Duration : 12 months contract Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens WORK SHIFT: 4/10A-1st Shift Job Summary: • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. • Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). • Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency, and quantitative judgements concerning technical data. • Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. • May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years' experience with troubleshooting RF and digital circuits. 3+ years' experience with laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Supplies, and Signal Generators. 3+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 3+ years' experience with electrical component parameters and packaging. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Safe handling of ESD sensitive devices. Skills Preferred Associate's degree in electronics or closely related technical field is desirable. Familiarity with microelectronics assembly techniques and desired. Soldering and assembly experience a plus. Familiarity with electronic modules including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation, and frequency conversion circuits. Strong verbal communication skills.
