A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve preschool students in a school setting. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to young children aged 2 to 4 years old, supporting their communication development in a structured educational environment. The assignment runs from January 5, 2026, to June 18, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for preschool-aged children Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and regulations Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) preferred Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered Experience working within school settings or pediatrics Strong understanding of early childhood communication development Ability to work effectively with young children ages 2-4 years old Excellent communication and organizational skills Location: Pre-K services provided at an elementary school located in Irvington, NJ This opportunity is ideal for an SLP passionate about early intervention and pediatric speech therapy within an educational setting.
