Allaire Rehab and Nursing is a newly renovated nursing home is seeking Companion Aides to be apart of our growing team Companions Benefits: All Shifts- 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, & 11p- 7am WEEKEND SHIFTS AVAILABLE Salary $16 an hour-- C.NA School w/ Tuition Paid ($2500 savings) to then make $20 Career Advancement Opportunitiese Flexible HRA & FSA Spending Account 401k- MATCHING 10% for FT Staff after 1 yr PTO- Vacation, Sick & Holiday for FT Staff Hospital, Accident, Cancer, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance Available for FT Staff Companions Requirements: • Assisting with the front desk duties as needed • Passing of ice waters each shift • Passing of snacks as needed • Making the beds and assisting with the rooms remaining "neat" that the new admission rooms have essential needs including call-bells, remotes, fully made beds with pillows, etc. • New Admission - assisting them to feel at home and settled in their room (unpacking and gathering clothing that will need labeling) • Accompany the residents on their needed appointments or outings • Maintain open communication between clients and their families as a liaison • Companionship 1:1 if assigned as needed • Assist during meal time with passing, feeding and collecting of the trays Must Haves: • Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
