The Business Office Manager is responsible for managing the overall business officeoperations for the retirement community. Major areas of responsibility andoversight include accounts payable (medical billing and insuranceverification), accounts receivable (resident billing and collections), frontdesk and guest services, resident services (move in/out, transfers), dataentry, general administrative support, and emergency response. What You Will Do Lead and coordinate all aspects of the business office, includingsupervision of the billing, collections and resident trust accounting functionsas well as the front desk operations Responsible for supervision, hiring, training, development, andengagement of staff Responsible for scheduling, timecards and other policyenforcement Oversee the resident billing system to ensure accuracy of residentaccounting billing information, including coordination with other departmentsas necessary Subject matter expert in and responsible for oversight of allresident related accounts receivable balances Private and Other Payers toensure accurate balances, timely billing and collections Responsible for front-end collections of A/R balances due fromresidents while in-house Responsible for timely processing of charges, adjustments,refunds, payment posting and write offs Ensures resident bills and collection letters are processedaccurately and timely Responsible for preparing and managing department budget Provide administrative support for campus (reporting, auditing,data entry, communications, etc.) Respond to emergent campus issues including resident evacuation,if necessary Lead self and team to deliver a high level of resident and guest satisfaction Support Lean methodology and a culture of continuous improvement Learn and apply Company, Federal, State, and local rules,regulations, and policies Other duties as assigned Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting orFinance; two years or more of related experience and/or training; or anequivalent combination of education and experience. Salary Range: $72,627.36 to $104,677.66 per year
