Job Description Now Hiring: Silver Plating Operator | $20/hr | Contract-to-Hire | Aurora, OH Hours & Location Location: Aurora, OH (facility assignment determined upon hire; company has three nearby buildings) Shifts Available: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM Weekend Shift: Available Start Date: ASAP Lunch/Breaks: 30-minute lunch Dress Code: Steel-toe boots, jeans, and t-shirt Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $20.00 Contract-to-hire opportunity 100% employer-paid health, dental, and life insurance for employees 401(k): 100% match on the first 3%, plus 50% match on the next 2% Benefits begin the 1st of the month following your start date Stable company with 10-month backlog and 50% growth last year Job Responsibilities As a Silver Plating Operator, you will operate and maintain a manual silver plating machine. This is not a dunk tank system-hands-on work is required. Key responsibilities include: Loading parts into the machine Using a wand applicator to apply silver plating manually Removing, inspecting, and finishing parts after plating Maintaining a clean and orderly workstation Ensuring basic quality standards are met during the process Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of machine operation or industrial experience required Paint booth or coating experience is a plus No blueprint reading or micrometer use required Must pass a 5-panel drug screen No felony convictions within the past 7 years Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time Comfortable lifting parts during manual operation Visual acuity to monitor quality during the plating process Work Environment This role is based in a busy, fast-growing manufacturing environment where parts are custom-built and finished to exacting standards. The silver plating department is part of a larger facility producing high-end industrial enclosures for global companies.
