Whether your passion lies with young children developing language skills, adults facing neurogenic communication hurdles, or seniors working on cognitive rehabilitation, this opportunity will challenge and inspire you. Description Conduct evaluations on patients across different age groups, employing both standardized tests and observational techniques. Create individualized treatment plans to address immediate goals and broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Implement one-on-one speech therapy designed to improve language, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members, to create integrated care plans. Educate patients and their families to support progress beyond the clinical environment. Occasionally assist in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless care process. Ensure accurate and prompt documentation in line with organizational, state, and federal regulations. Certifications Active state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting work. Skills Adept at using evidence-based practices tailored for various age groups, with a clear understanding of developmental and acquired disorders related to speech, language, and swallowing. Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and a wide-ranging interdisciplinary team. Capability to modify therapeutic interventions to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills within a clinical context. Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation requirements. Benefits Competitive salary reflective of your expertise and experience. Flexible working hours enabling a harmonious work-life balance and varied caseloads. Potential for specialization in pediatric care, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric services. Paid time off (PTO) and holidays. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance packages. Support for continuing education and professional growth opportunities. A collaborative, family-like atmosphere dedicated to high-quality patient care and ongoing learning. A Career That Transforms Lives - and Enriches Yours In this role, you will deliver speech therapy, but more importantly, you will join a shared vision of rejuvenating voices, enhancing communication, and creating meaningful interactions through the simplest yet profound acts of connection and understanding. You'll collaborate with passionate clinicians who nurture one another like family, fostering a culture that prioritizes teamwork over competition. Every patient brings a unique narrative; we trust you to help frame that story positively.
