Refrigeration Technician

Major Refrigeration Ltd. is expanding and currently seeking Apprentices and Journeyperson Refrigeration Technicians to join our dynamic team. Founded in 2012, by two experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Mechanics, Major Refrigeration Ltd. is based out of Grimsby, Ontario and has grown to a team of over 160 employees What we offer: Vacation pay of 10%, paid weekly Four (4) weeks vacation annually Employer contributed RRSPs Health, Vision and Dental benefits Annual safety boot allowance Company supplied work clothing Company vehicle, where applicable Company cell phone, where applicable What we are looking for: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprints Experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers/freezers, rooftop units, chillers, etc.) Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude Excellent communication and customer service skills Qualifications: 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic/Apprentice (any industry) Gas Technician (G2 or G1) certification, preferred Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification, required Valid G driver's license and clean driving record Physical ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and climb ladders as required We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those that best meet our qualifications will be contacted.
