Activity Bus Driver/Substitute Bus Driver2025-2026Description: This position is on an as-needed basis. Activity Driver transports students to and from school and related functions in a safe and timely manner. Inspects and maintains the school bus to ensure proper operating condition. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 21 years of age Must be licensed in accordance with Missouri statutes Requires 2-5 years of job-related prior experience Essential Job Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Interacting with students, parents and school personnel Operation of school bus on routes and activity trips Interprets routes and maps Anticipates and analyzes road conditions and hazards Will be trained by Transportation Department prior to being placed on the job.
