Job Description CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERINTENDENT (Permanent) Our client, an established and well-known construction firm in WNY, is looking to hire a Construction Site Superintendent to join their growing team. Responsibilities: Oversee onsite operations for complex construction projects Create & maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors and crew members to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget Ensure proper measures are carried out to maintain safety and quality expectations Travel to various job sites-mostly within NYS-to manage daily activities Coordinate crews, material procurement, equipment, etc. according to project's schedule Ensure all project documentation/reports are up to date, accurate, and appropriately reflect each project's progression Communicate any delays with senior leadership to ensure appropriate adjustments are made to schedules, budgets, and deadlines Collaborate with various internal and external team members to ensure plans are executed efficiently Remain up to date on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance is maintained at all times Work well in a team environment, as well as independently Other duties as assigned/as necessary Details: Position is full-time, direct hire 100% in-office/on-site; travel required - mostly inside NYS - up to 60% Company vehicle will be provided Anything over an hour away, company will pay for hotel $70,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience Full health coverage for individuals, employer-subsidized family plans, PTO (relaxed policy) Associate's in Construction Management is preferred 5+ years' experience in Construction Field Supervision and/or civil construction General Contractor or Construction Manager experience is a plus Strong computer skills (specifically Excel & Word); Procore a plus Strong organizational and time management skills Strong communication and presentation skills Strong attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work well independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple crews and sites Ability to travel in NYS to projects: travel is approx.. 60% and you will be home on weekends Relocation not available Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available All employees and applicants, please know that you have access at all times to New York State and Federal Labor Laws and Posters at the Government Agency websites:
