A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide coverage for a maternity leave starting in October. This is an onsite contract role, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting. The assignment is expected to last at least 12 weeks, with working hours scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly regarding student outcomes Qualifications: Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Experience working in a school environment preferred Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population Strong communication and interpersonal skills Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island Benefits of this role include a structured schedule during standard school hours and the opportunity to impact student development directly within the school community.
