We are seeking innovative, collaborative, and student-centered candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Our Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies program is designed to prepare graduates for successful careers in diverse professional settings and provides a strong foundation for graduate study. Key Responsibilities:Teaching (Primary Role) Teach a 4/4 undergraduate course load across our three campuses (Beaufort, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island). Deliver face-to-face instruction, with additional opportunities for hybrid and online modalities. Engage students in meaningful and interactive learning experiences across the Communication Studies curriculum. Scholarship Maintain an active scholarly agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and/or pursuit of extramural funding. Mentor undergraduate students in applied research projects, fostering academic and professional growth. Service Participate in shared governance by contributing to departmental, programmatic, and university-wide initiatives. Advise and mentor students, serve on academic committees, and engage in professional service activities.
