Cold Food Assembly & Picking

LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is immediately hiring full- time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the world's leading provider of end-to-end airline products and services with a fast growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service. Job description, duties and requirements: Cold Food Order Pickers work in a fast-paced environment to pick food items. Must have a team player attitude, and the ability to learn as you go in a time-sensitive environment. Read client specification paper work and /pick accurate orders. Must be able to work any day of the week with an hourly schedule of 5am-1:30pm- including mandatory overtime as needed. Our scheduled times do not rotate but candidates must be open to change scheduled days during seniority based shift bids. Shift Bids occur at a minimum two times per year. Eligible candidates must: • Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States • Be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays • Be available to work mandatory overtime as needed • Be able to complete the application/orientation process in English • Be able to stand for the duration of the shift • Be able to work in a 38 degree cold room for the duration of the shift (cold gear provided after 60-day probationary period) • Be able to lift up to 30lbs and push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts. Be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, stoop for the entire shift. • Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world • Be willing to join and pay union dues after 60 days
