Job DescriptionPsychologist-Outpatient Mental Health Practice Supervisor The Outpatient Behavioral Health Practice Supervisor is a licensed psychologist who provides clinical and operational oversight for psychotherapists and advanced practice providers across two outpatient practices in the greater Cincinnati area. This leader will have exceptional clinical acumen, deep knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapies, and a strong command of best practices in outpatient behavioral health care. Please view our benefits page Job Requirements: Doctoral Degree A PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited college or university. (Preferred) 1 - 2 years post-graduate clinical experience providing treatment in an outpatient mental or behavioral health setting. (Preferred) Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT). Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Other Current and unrestricted Ohio licensure (i.e., Clinical Psychologist) Required Job Overview: The Outpatient Mental Health Practice Supervisor serves as both a clinical and administrative leader within the specific operating unit. This role combines direct patient care with responsibilities for guiding, supervising, and supporting the clinical team assigned to the specific operating unit. The Outpatient Mental Health Practice Supervisor partners with Behavioral Health leadership to coordinate daily operations, develop and implement policies and procedures and clinical pathway programs, ensure regulatory compliance, set and track key performance indicators, foster team member engagement and sense of belonging, and engage in continuous process improvement in quality, safety, and patient outcomes. Responsibilities also include staff recruitment and onboarding, training and mentorship, program development and evaluation, and workforce retention initiatives. Job Responsibilities: Use evidence-based interventions, provide direct clinical services, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy, and/or medication management (discipline-dependent). Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Serve as a clinical supervisor for all non-physician providers in assigned operating unit through supervision, mentorship, coaching, training, and competency evaluations. Participate in and/or lead case consultations, team meetings, and trainings to ensure coordinated patient care. Collaborate with leadership to oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and addressing team and patient needs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards. Facilitate clinical quality reviews, chart audits, and performance improvement initiatives. Drive program growth and process improvement through data monitoring, performance evaluation, policy creation, and program development. Support recruitment, peer interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and professional development of clinical staff. Provide professional consultation to and coordination of services with other departments, agencies, community organizations and groups, schools, and others concerned with behavioral health services. This individual should be comfortable balancing direct patient care with leadership, supervision, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
