Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and feeding tube care is required. Knowledge of hemodialysis management is essential. Basic nursing skills such as starting IVs, administering medications, and isolation precautions are required. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for working within an interdisciplinary support team. Candidates must be adaptable to different patient diagnoses and acuity levels. All travelers must be able and willing to accept assignments that include COVID-19 patients.
