Possess a valid driver's license (CDL) with P and S endorsement required. Possess a valid driver's license (CDL) with Air Brake endorsements preferred. A driving record with no serious violations. Demonstrated ability to follow specific directions when required. Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community. Demonstrate the ability to read, write, speak, understand and/or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Demonstrate the ability to use vehicle equipment, vehicle management and telecommunications. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be deemed appropriate and acceptable by the Board. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month, part-time position, hourly rate and work schedule, as needed, to be determined by the Board or designee. RATE: $32/hour BENEFITS: NJ Earned Sick Leave
