Job Full Description Food Service Worker - Assisted Living FacilityJob Summary We are recruiting a Food Service Worker to join our client's assisted living community. This role is essential in creating a positive, respectful dining experience for our residents. The ideal candidate is patient, friendly, and comfortable working with elderly residents, including those with memory loss or cognitive impairments. Key Responsibilities Greet residents warmly and assist with seating in the dining area Serve meals and beverages according to facility standards Provide friendly, patient, and respectful service to all residents Assist residents as needed during mealtime Clear tables, dispose of waste, and sanitize dining areas after meals Reset and prepare the cafeteria for the next meal service Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and supervisors Qualifications Previous food service experience preferred but not required Experience working with elderly individuals or memory care residents is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patient, compassionate, and dependable Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks Why Join Us?
