Registered Nurse - ER

Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted (HARD STOPS) Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: This is a very small ER located 3 miles down the road from the large Main Augusta campus hospital. ER will have an ambulance on site 24 hours per day to be readily available to transport any patients that need care above what this facility can offer. No IV Team, Wound Care will be done virtually, No Cafeteria - Vending machines will have meal options; Parts of Orientation will take place at the Main Augusta campus approximately 3 miles down the road. Ratio / Census: 1:4; 14 Beds Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Spacelabs Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th) Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Possibility of floating to the Main Augusta campus located approximately 3 miles down the road. Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
