Safety Specialist - plant level

Must have at least two years of plant safety experience within industrial manufacturing operations along with a bachelor's degree in safety or related technical field from an accredited program. This position will be part of the EHS Department, reports to the EHS Manager and supports a large manufacturing facility. The department consists of the EHS Manager, (2) other EHS Engineers. This role will work closely with facility supervisors and support them through training in areas of investigations (ID root cause, make recommendations) and behavioral training related to human performance safety issues. Focus on safety prevention versus reaction. This is a fast-paced and challenging production facility due to the complexity of their operations. Outstanding career growth into other EHS leadership roles within larger facilities or corporate and divisional locations.
