Position Overview We are in search of an experienced and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance a dynamic team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding care. Core Responsibilities Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Foster patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, taking the time to explain each step with both clarity and kindness. Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of top-notch diagnostic images. Properly operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions. Meticulously document all procedures and maintain patient records using our electronic medical record system. Stay abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound technologies and best practices. Education and Credentials An associate's or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is required. Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program. Required Certifications Current ARDMS certification or equivalent accreditation is essential. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred. Essential Skills Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
